Durand-Wayland SmartSpray Systems uses waterproof ultrasonic sensors linked to a 21st Century onboard computer and tractor-mounted controller to seek and target trees that need spraying.

The result is that hundreds of gallons of chemicals are saved because the nozzles won't be wasting spray on the ground, the air or the space between the trees.

It's easier on the environment. And it's automatic, too.
